*Vroege conceptfase. Beschrijvingen zijn voorlopig en kunnen wijzigen.*

BlackBricks Lab — modular building with light and logic

A creative research project by Emerald Innovations

BlackBricks Lab explores how physical building blocks, electronics, and data connection can merge into one modular, hands-on system.

---

What it’s about

BlackBricks Lab explores the idea of smart bricks — blocks that react, communicate, and learn. Not to replace what exists, but to make building, designing, and prototyping more intuitive.

Vision

Technology should be tangible. The goal: to bridge creativity and electronics so every builder — from child to designer — can experiment with light, logic, and energy without complex interfaces.

Status

The project is in its research stage. Ideas are being tested around power supply, magnetic coupling, and simple communication protocols. No commercial or technical details are disclosed until the first proof-of-concept is complete.

*Early concept phase. Descriptions are preliminary and subject to change.*
